What has been people's experience with this series?
Certainly, they are easy to install. I'm seeing seven MAC addresses for each access point, some are without SSID. According to my Android based scanner, one of the 2.4GHz access points is a 40MHz channel. I'm seeing channels 1, 2, 3 (with SSID), 1, 2, 3 (without SSID), and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (without SSID), 36, 40, 44, 48 (with SSID), 149, 153, 157, 161 (with SSID), 149, 153, 157, 161 (without SSID), 149, 153, 157, 161 (without SSID).
It's still too early for my final judgement, but this seems like a lot of spectrum use. That wide 2.4GHz channel will cause interference for neighbors in high density urban areas. The speeds I'm seeing are reasonable, not stunning.
Are you using the same SSID for all nodes?
According to their tech support, devices will use the 5G band unless they don't have the ability and both bands are active at all times. The 5G band can be disabled for 15 minutes in order to set up devices that operate on 2.4G, but will return to normal after that time.
Call tech support- they can help.
