I've installed about 30 of them, no issues as of yet.
First 4 were in my own home and they are all hard wired. I have 200mg service and get that on Wifi everywhere.
The majority of my clients are newer homes and newer devices so I rarely run in to issues with legacy devices but Hayward pool equipment usually causes connection issues.
