There are a bunch of Clan followers who are simply trying to ride the crest of whatever wave seems to be popular at the moment. Lindsay Graham is a classic. Now, he will be shouting "I told you so back in 2015" and seek some sort of hero status. Later, if one of the Trump kids seems to be creating a wave, Graham will ride that wave. Cabinet members are jumping ship, preparing to catch the next wave. Also, if they jump now, they can avoid any sort of bad publicity for being part of a 25th amendment drama.
