Go to the Wiki at hifi-remote (it's in the links at the top of the forum pages) and click on Manual Programming - 9xx Commands.  Use the 983 command to try to blink back the remote's signature.  If 983 succeeds and the signature is 3XXX (the 11055 remotes may have signature 3032)  then the remote is highly likely to use and accept 5 digit EFCs.
