I'm using a Cisco/Meraki MR16 with OpenWRT, that thing was free and it even works with WPA2 with the Pronto. I haven't tried other APs (or older/simpler/no encryption) yet, although my tsu 9600 takes a few seconds to establish a WiFi connection each time it wakes up.
