Trying to program a URC MX-890 remote with CCP for a Bell Fibe 4K PVR (Arris VIP5662W). I cant get any of the Bell Fibe or Arris codes in the URC database to work. I have learned all of the codes off the bell fibe remote (by unplugging the receiver first so the remote works IR instead of bluetooth) but the learned codes are spotty at best, for example the arrow commands work fine in some applications but not in others. Ive tried learning the codes a ton of times but cannot get them to work perfectly. Intermittently some codes will double hit or miss a hit (line of sight or emitter). Am I missing something in the URC database here? I have spoken to URC tech support but the couldn't suggest anything else...

Did they tell you that URC has the most comprehensive database in the industry? They don't.

I just added one of these to my Harmony remote and a note showed that this piece may use more than one IR language. It also showed that if you need to change it, go to:

Settings>Devices>BELL FIBETV DVR>Device Versions

If that doesn't work, I would contact the provider and ask them to send the HEX codes after explaining the need.

You can change the number of repeats for the codes in the URC Editor- have you tried that?
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
