Depending on what I'm watching and what time I'm watching it, I often switch between different picture modes. This is generally just for brightness. As of yet, I haven't had a TV with automatic brightness that works well enough that I don't need to switch several times a day.

Of all of the TVs I've had, as of yet I've never had one I could find discrete codes to be able to change the brightness, either directly or by switching picture modes. I have been doing macros, but they take a while and are obviously problematic.

I was hoping that I might get some suggestions for 4k TVs that would have appropriate discrete codes.
