“Hot” definitely doesn’t sound right.
The Power supplies either need to be 16VAC with at least 20VA on long runs and 30VA if powering more than one.
The power supplies need to have surge protection as well. Those DSC ones are not going to last long. Every time the doorbell button is pressed, it shorts out the supply. Thats how the mechanical doorbell works. Ring sells a plug in power supply designed for the Pro and Ring Video Doorbell 2/3/3+. It's not expensive and most every one of my distributors sell it. its 18 bucks on Amazon.
