I'm also still using my tired, laggy and worn 9600 as just nothing out there that comes anywhere near the versatility of Pronto remotes but now beginning to have issues. Uploading is sketchy and on W7 keep losing connection so thought I'd try on an old XP laptop. All was good running pep1 and opening my config file to edit but for one thing, if I had text added to buttons or even attempted to add text the software refused to display the text, I'm stumped now and sadly thinking has all this had it's day and with breaking heart is it time after over 20 years dabbling with Pronto's time to say goodbye 😭
Update:
Followed advice from Lyndel and reinstalled using my old XP laptop and all is working great again, how can I ever part with my Pronto and this great site.
