Yeah, this used to be a great solution because you could very simply build a macro that was CH+ plus however many INPUT commands you needed to get to the right input.

But Samsung is the company that, some time in the later 90s, dropped that in favor of showing THIS FUNCTION IS NOT AVAILABLE when you hit CH+ or minus when you were on a non-tuner input. (I always thought some bright young engineer looked at the CH+ switching to the tuner and said "what's that for? That's not necessary! We'll take that out!"

Frankly, I'm surprised if they ever put it back in.
