Have had several JVCs fail in the last six months. Getting them serviced has been very difficult. Delays, DOA after repair, poor communication from service company, etc.
Just stopped repairing 1080 devices and upgrading customers to Sony 4K. Everyone has been very happy on new installs and upgrades. Best of all, the IP driver in Crestron Home is easy to deploy and reliable.
I’ve sold many JVC pjs in the last 20 years and getting repair work was always hit or miss. I never knew what I was going to experience and for that reason it made me nervous selling them. They always performed great And were reasonably reliable but a few times they tarnished my image with the customer when there were service issues. Epson was a refreshing change from that Anxiety. But is Epson now providing full native 4K now? And laser light sources ?
