I have this at home. I attached heavy duty castors to it.
[Link: middleatlantic.com]Its pretty solid but if you are going to mount a lot of heavy gear i would glue and screw them together and think about wood or metal sides glued and screwed to make it more solid.
PS...absolutely ZERO cable management at 16" depth. Even if you bought the extra rails for the back you wouldnt be able to use it because of deep equipment.
