Well this isn't any fun if we all say the same thing, so...

From the netflix site:

"0.5 Megabits per second - Required broadband connection speed
1.5 Megabits per second - Recommended broadband connection speed
3.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for SD quality
5.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for HD quality
25 Megabits per second - Recommended for Ultra HD quality"

I don't take my work home with me - AT ALL. I don't even have internet at my place, so when I wanted to watch Stranger Things, I tethered my crappy TCL TV to my phone and watched all 2 (or 3?) seasons that way. It worked. Pretty well, too, and according to the chart, it makes sense.

I'm sure you're using a variety of services, not just Netflix, so the demands will vary, but you're talking about running this to EVERY location. Cat5e, by the specs, will handle 1GB up to 300', so the wire isn't even *close* to being the limiting factor.

And no, I'm to saying you should be selling this; you asked about your own house, and you have the wire.

Okeedoke, flame suit on!
