That was my first thought but I need a lot of power, he wants it to crank. So, I was thinking using an avr (say Sony 5000ES) the cost of $2200.00. I'd possibly be better off using an HDMI switch and great two channel amp. Either way the sub (s) and amps are the same if we use an AVR or two channel amp.
From your thoughts what are the pros and cons of the two options? Lip sync, down converting, etc.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
