The aptX low latency codec is one way to do it, the other is to have a bluetooth sender and headphones that both support SCMS-T copy protection, so the signal can remain in the digital domain and be decoded at the headphones - hence a reduction of delay (about the same as the aptX version). I know Yamaha / Bose and Sony have headphones that are compliant, but only know that the new Yamaha AVR's have the sending capability. HOWEVER, some Sony TV's may be able to? Something to look into.
This industry is not getting cheaper and cheaper, we're simply convincing ourselves that we have to push the cheapest option to customers. #makesonosgreatagain
