No, I really don't.
To simplify it, Hounds chase Foxes, usually based on their scent- noise produced by the Fox is immaterial and with all of the howling & barking, hunting horns and the sound of the horses, they probably wouldn't hear the rustling of leaves and cracking twigs. The noise injected into the wire is like the scent, the inductive wand is similar to the Hounds' sense of smell.
