Figured it out. The remote outputs IR when the TV is not connected to the network. I had to restart the TV and while it was restarting I could learn the code I needed. By using the learned code rather than the discrete I can exit directly to the Home screen without confirmation needed

My TCL 65R625 remote isn't outputting IR. I feel like it originally did but might be mistaken. It controls the tv fine (I believe through wifi). I'm trying to learn the IR code for the Home button. The HEX code above mostly works however it asks for a confirmation about leaving an app. The Home button on my remote leaves directly to the home screen without asking first.

Does anybody either know a Hex code to directly leave to the home screen or else how to get the remote to output IR so I can directly learn it? Thanks for the help!
