Yep. Reviving this old thread.
Bought a screendead Pronto some while ago (to have for spare parts)
Then after seeing this thread I bought a Nino 300 for 10 Euros and BINGO!
Yes, the descriptions above are perfect and success is a fact!
Thanks to all of you especially for the picture links.
Anybody out there looking for replacement screen for Pronto Ru890, RU940 or TSU 1000/2000: keep your eyes open for Nino300 on ebay. They are cheap and the operation is simple.
What a great day. Now I have a second Pronto for the TV in the basement...
