Realize this is an old thread...

I'm having the same issue trying to learn IR codes for a Samsung BD-J5100 player using a Pronto TSU9400.

Most of the codes work, although not consistently- having particular grief with open/close which doesn't work at all.

Every time I learn it, its substantially different length. I'm on a matt surface in a room with no lights on; have tried both a single button press and holding.

Barry mentioned tools that can be used to 'clean up' these codes... I did a quick web search without finding anything; can someone point me in the right direction?

Alternatively I found a great thread on codes for Samsung TVs ([Link: remotecentral.com]) that let me resolve my bluetooth remote / Samsung TV issue. Is there an equivalent list of codes for Samsung BluRay somewhere; ideally in Pronto format.
