I didn't think so. Have you determined the money lost by giving away your T&M? Goodwill gestures are very similar to a band playing for the exposure, rather than being paid.
Couldn't disagree more.
The minimal cost of a few extra wires in the correctly needed locations have saved myself, companies I worked for, and clients unnecessary future costs.
Clients are VERY appreciative when you save them from having to rip apart their house because you went above and beyond the first time. So appreciative they will now spend the $20K it would have cost, on equipment you supply!
It's better to think it terms of the long game in our industry.
