Amazon's FireTV remote (voice + IR) isn't half bad for a tiny system control either.
Just set up a spare bedroom with an old LG TV, an awesome sounding old JVC "wood cone" microsystem, and a FireTV 4K as the only source, and the included remote actually operates everything (even the microsystem) perfectly with discrete codes.
Granted, if you need access to anything additional it's useless, but for guests just wanting to watch Netflix, Prime, AppleTV, or Disney+ with decent sound, it's perfect.
