I know this has been brought up already, earlier this year. But days like today where the forum board is just outright being assaulted by spammers (18 times in the last 5 hours). Something really needs to be done. They just about filled the first page of the forum.

If a new person to the forum really can't wait 24 hours for approval, with 2 factor authentication, then I guess they really don't want help do they.
