Long time follower, first time making an account and posting. Thanks and apologies in advance for my inquiry.

I'm trying to use a BrightSign unit to control an Optoma projector via IR -

I am able to send only Pronto Hex IR off the BrightSign unit.

I verified that the emitter is flashing when I send codes...


I've tried every code I could in this forum and other websites but to no avail.

I'm a little confused about what pronto hex actually is and what straight up hex is when referring to remotes.

At the end of the user manual for the projector they list the IR codes but it is only 3 bytes.

I called Optoma and they told me they dont have the converted version and that pronto hex is outdated. I'm not sure what they meant by that because everything seems to use that version.

Does anyone have any codes I could try or any ideas to help me understand a little more?
