An important detail is that the number of things you can plsy from a dish is TUNERS, not RECEIVERS.
Btw, one of the things a DirecTV system can do is network using DECA, which is thei version of MoCA. I have a client who bought a flip. Great house, except the people who flipped the house cut all the internal phone wires (which were CAT-3 anyway). RG6 still runs through the building and I was able to supply wired network everywhere needed using DECA components.
