Get a normal Comcast dvr open it up and take the cable card out. Then call and get it paired to the Tivo. Return Comcast box with crappy card.

You know I have thought about that many times. But cable boxes don't require the M-Card that the TiVo unit does. The cable boxes I took the cable card out to check, were all S-cards. At least around here. (single-stream vs. multi-stream).
