I’d like to review current TIA residential wiring standards, which I believe are covered in TIA-570-C. Is my best bet to fork over the money to buy the standards document, or are there other more efficient and cost effective ways to approach this.

I spent a chunk of time searching on the web, but I didn’t find a clear path emerging on how to go about this. Thx.

You can read NEC articles online- if you adhere to them, anything you do in resi wiring should be more than adequate and probably better than what the competition does.

Google 'NEC grounding requirements', 'NEC communication wiring' and look into BICSI.

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
