He's around. But there are other tools out there that also decode protocols. Google for IRScrutinizer. It does have a bit of a learning curve but it is capable of both decoding and generating codesets. So, if you have learned data from a Pronto in the legacy Pronto Hex (0000) format, it can surely take it in, tell you the protocol and once you know that, generate codes as needed.
