So I hit a snag on one of my devices. I have an older amp that turns on and off via a 12v trigger. I currently have it configured in iRule so I am using my iPhone to power it on and off. The path is basically iphone - Global Cache IP2IR - Buffalo IR hub - Xantech Relay - Amp.
So the iPhone sends the command via IP over wifi to the IP2IR device which converts the signal to IR. At this point it is passed through the IR hub to the Xantech relay which triggers the amp on and off.
I have tried using the MX-980 to learn the command once converted to IR by plugging in a flasher at both the IP2IR device as well as the Buffalo IR hub. The flasher emits as it is supposed to from both devices but the MX-980 refuses to learn the command.
Any other suggestions on how I might capture these codes?
