This comment "There are many different kinds of consumers...just know that not all of us need such systems that require someone else to program or maintain them..." shows a complete lack of understanding of why manufacturers require someone other than the customer to program their remotes. Those requirements don't eliminate bad programming by someone who's technically a 'pro', but it does minimize the complaints going to the manufacturer's support lines. That said, URC sure has long wait time.
