Fred Allen was a funny guy who was part of the Jack Benny radio show cast back in the day.* He had this to say:
When asked how he liked English warm beer, Fred Allen said, "as far as I'm concerned they can put it back in the horse."
I knew when I made that comment about Lucas that it would just derail this thread even further.
* "Back in the day" was pretty much any time before people said "back in the day." They said "yesteryear" or "in days of old" back then.
The phrase "in days of old" is patently ridiculous because, in those days, things were new. Today is the days of old.
