@Musashi79uk - If the USB chipset or connections inside your TSU-9600 are defective, the Mini-USB and dock connectors will both fail.

Your one last shot at salvation might be to reseat both ends of the item 8000 flex-cable connectors on shown on page 2-2 step 5a of the philips_tsu9600_service_manual.pdf (Google that) Service Manual. The other end of the item 8000 flex-cable is shown on page 3-2.

Note that specialized tools are required for the TSU-9600 disassembly and reassembly. You may damage your TSU-9600 permanently if you attempt this. You will probably want an ESD mat (NOT aluminum foil!) and wrist strap to prevent further damage from static discharge. Attempt this repair at your own risk.
