It's very unlikely you'll ever see any updates for IP and/or 2-way drivers for the MX-5000 as it's been discontinued for quite a few years now. Maybe just updates to the CCP database which ultimately feeds the 5000 for IR commands. There is a way to add 1-way IP strings as was mentioned, but their MX-HomePro line is where 2-way control and IP are going (unless you want to step into their Total Control products).
