Most source devices do have a maximum number of keys available for syncing to displays. I believe most matrix switches had ways of “fooling” the source. Been a while since I have given any thought to it. Crestron used to have a document showing how many keys most popular sources had

This is what I thought. It wasnt the number of keys on a network, the keys had to do with the number of displays you could connect to a source. Im trying to figure out if there is something to this claim of a limitation of 32 devices. and if so, is it just sources or does it count all HDMI devices, like displays too.
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.
