I have used this at a couple of projects where we added AppleTV to component video switchers (crestron pvid)

ive used a dozen, cheap simple, converters from Amazon over the years. they don't last forever but have worked. Some seam to shift the pic to the left a little bit.
I haven't seen the image shift issue mentioned in the above post but i have had them fail. Every year or two they failed and had to be replaced. Same with the few HDFuries i have installed.
