Hold up everyone. A company called Synamedia, displaying at CES, clearly press released this using the Netflix name to move the needle. Seems to have worked. No where can I find an article that has any first hand comment by Netflix.

From an article about it (emphasis mine): “The company says the system is already being tested and in the future it will be offered to other streaming services like Netflix and HBO.”

In fact, I only jumped in to this fray because I remembered reading this Article in which the CEOs of both Netflix and HBO express positivity towards account sharing: [Link: techcrunch.com]
