For the veterans, can you imagine going back in time and tell people you can hook them up with the ability to instantly play any song and as many as they'd like for less than the cost of a single CD?
I don't see it as trying to "beat the man". Netflix actually "beat" the people who were doing it when they started limiting the amount of streams per account, regardless of where they come from.
