I don't believe any systems have been shut down... the WiFi password may have been changed and caused dramas (no ethernet to the hub of course grrrr)... apart from that it should be business as usual and you should be able to dial into the web-portal and check things over before even leaving home base.
This industry is not getting cheaper and cheaper, we're simply convincing ourselves that we have to push the cheapest option to customers. #makesonosgreatagain
