Does anyone know if the HEOS Link trigger output is a pulse or a level?

I'm with highfigh on this one!

What trigger output have you run across that is just a pulse?

A DC voltage provides a clear signal that a function has been chosen. Lack of that DC voltage provides a clear signal that a function has been... unchosen.

A pulse is a toggle command. That is, there's no way to know if a pulse is for turning something on or turning something off. This brings up all the synchronization issues of the 1990s.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
