I removed the rear seats from a Nissan Versa hatchback to create a mini-minivan. I had to build the floor up with 2X2's to match the cargo area height. Then i built a new floor with MDF that is split and then attached on the back side with a piano hinge so that it can be removed easily.

I suspect you need to do something similar.
