I used Elan once. The setup was a bit of a PIA, and I had one receiver that was defective that screwed up video on the whole network, but after it was running it has been solid.

Snap's HDMI bandwidth was published @ 7Gbit/s or so around Cedia. HDbaseT @ 10.2 Gbit/s is already getting us in trouble. All it takes is a client messing with settings in their Apple TV/Nvidia/Roku and the system is broken. And you are holding the bag on selling an inferior product.
I would stay as far away from this as possible if you are doing any kind of quality residential work.
