David, I love you, man, but you made problems in that other thread.
Trump ran on putting up a wall AND having Mexico pay for it.
Some people are saying that he ran on and won on putting up a wall. Some people are saying no, he ran and won on Mexico paying for it.
(Let's note in passing that it is not at all logical to say that he ran on Mexico paying for the wall, because there is no wall now and it would have to be built for someone to pay for it. So building it is part and parcel of the issue.)
All those people on both sides are wrong because he stated the goal as putting up the wall AND having Mexico pay for it. People who argue it was one thing or another are misrepresenting what happened. Nobody is talking about it if everybody is talking about something else!
Since we can't seem to stray into that territory, would you just please leave it along? Nobody here is going to change anybody's mind here (maybe even this is a hopeless note), so how 'bout we go back to talking about whether two LEDs can work if they have a common ground and one of the IR outputs is a common collector output/ And other things THAT WE CAN DECIDE ON RATIONALLY.
