Can you confirm how you set this up? I tried an extender that claimed it was ARC compatible. Its ARC LED even indicated it was working - but no.
Connection was:
TV HDMI (ARC) -> HDMI Cable -> HDBT -> CAT6 -> HDBT -> HDMI Cable -> Sonos Amp.
Or did you use the ARC return path and output audio to the HDBT Toslink(and HDMI adapter) into Sonos Amp?
I did the testing months ago, but I think the connection path is what you described with all HDMI (no Toslink).
