I did do some quick testing using one of the latest SnapAV HDBT extenders that supports ARC and it was able to return audio from the TV back to the AMP. This was all done very quickly and temporarily with CAT5 cable strung through the house across the floor.
Can you confirm how you set this up? I tried an extender that claimed it was ARC compatible. Its ARC LED even indicated it was working - but no.
Connection was:
TV HDMI (ARC) -> HDMI Cable -> HDBT -> CAT6 -> HDBT -> HDMI Cable -> Sonos Amp.
Or did you use the ARC return path and output audio to the HDBT Toslink(and HDMI adapter) into Sonos Amp?
