It's too bad so many people are getting into vinyl as a way to be trendy. Hipsters suck and when they decide to drop it, that industry is gonna crash hard.
Not just that industry. Remember the tech boom of, what, 1990something? It crashed after state governments (my stupid California government, at least) had ratcheted up their budgets and their pensions because all this tax money was going to be coming in forever... and when the tech boom burst, all that was left was commitments to pay hugely increased pensions.
There's a smell of boom in the air and California is once more seeing the wonderful things that government can spend us into.
