Originally she couldn’t. But they have added an option to unlock. But it requires a voice code. However, with one of the latest updates on elan, Alexa doesn’t usually communicate with my locks now.
In C4 I worked around this Alexa limitation. You just have to program an Alexa routine programmed to toggle a variable created in C4. Then program that variable to do the locking/unlocking. She's not smart enough to know!
I did this with a gate so the customer could unlock a motorized gate.
