I heard about Altice back in March. I have Direct TV, but since the Altice box does cable TV, WiFi and Phone, I thought I would have Cable come out to the house and install it. I was a little concerned that it might work.
They were at the house for 4 hours the first day. At the end of the day, no internet and no cable guide.
The next day they sent another crew and they got the internet to work and half of the cable guide. Still couldn't record a lot of the shows we watch, because the guide was incomplete.
The following day, they sent out a supervisor and another team to sort it all out. They told me they couldn't use any of the slave boxes to create an access point ( a major point of using Altice) because it would prevent the main box from being a router. They couldn't get the guide to work, either.
The next day they came back and took everything out. Only charged me $200. for their time. Which broke down to about $5/ hour. In my opinion it's about what they are worth. The guys they sent out said they were sorry but they weren't given any training on Altice.
Back with Direct TV. Not the same since it was taken over by AT&T but, far better than Altice.

Why did you pay them anything if they couldn’t get it to work? Sounds like you got suckered coming and going.
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.
