My Lenovo T430 has been through the ringer. Fallen off ladders, wet, stepped on you name it. It’s never let me down in the 6ish years I’ve owned it. My Ethernet port finally bit the dust and it’s more then paid for it’s self. A fellow RCer was telling me today that they have a good deal going, so I think I’m going to order a new one.

For what we do I’ll never understand spending 1500-3000 on a laptop. It’s insane given the environments we work in. On the other hand, a RJ45 Jack is imperative to me. I don’t want to carry around a dongle and be on the 3rd floor and it be down in the work bag. I think you guys probably don’t realize how much we actually use one.
