The Triad brings back memories of car audio days of late 80’s and 90’s. KEF had a similar design. Box mounted on trunk and flexible duct routed sound into cabin through the rear deck.
The Triad ones work pretty well if you have a space to stash the box.
I have one behind a corner cut fireplace and one strapped up in a crawlspace with the port firing through the floor.
I wouldn't do it in a dedicated media room but for a surround zone in a family room or bedroom they work good.
