Ive got a Samsung 75" product code : QE75Q900R (product codes may vary in other countries, but should be similar elsewhere in the world)

Im controlling it over IP via a Savant control system.

The IP control works fine, but im having trouble with the Wake On Lan (WOL).

The WOL dosnt seem to work from the Savant control system or when sent a WOL packet from my laptop, unless the TV has been off for c. 5 minutes.

Eg. if you turn the TV on, then off again it wont respond to again with a WOL packet for c.5 mins, if a WOL packet is sent it just ignores it, but after about 5 minutes it will accept them again.

Any ideas why this might be and what can be done about it ?

Is it preferable to control these TVs over RS232 instead ?
