When I had it, I was trying to call the wife, and she was twenty feet away in her car.
Got the recorded message "the person you are trying to reach is out of the area.".
A buddy of mine worked for Sprint (the telco, not the cell company ), and their cellphones were of course Sprint. I was talking to him one day and the call dropped. He called back and said “I hit a dead spot. But why should I expect service on I-40”
